Flame of Grace Podcast

A testimony podcast by Adriana Adeline; It is written in Revelations 12:11 ”And they overcame him, by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” We all have testimonies of Gods grace in our lives, and we give Glory to the Lord by sharing the truth of how His grace, love and mercy brought us through! When we stand with the power of the blood of the Lamb, and the word of our testimony, and we die to ourselves to be renewed and born again we stand victorious despite our deepest valley! Beginning with her personal testimony, Adriana shares her story of her boyfriend Rowell collapsing from a sudden brain bleed and moments where God’s Grace truly touched her life throughout this deep valley. She tells of how she saw God move in incredible ways and how she fully came to Jesus. As the story unfolds, she will be interviewing other brothers and sisters in Christ to share their testimony of how Jesus helped them overcome in their lives.

Tongues of Fire; Power of Prayer

Episode 17: Tongues of Fire; Power of Prayer
Welcome to Episode SEVENTEEN of Flame of Grace!
In this Episode, we pick up the story following the prophetic prayer experience Adriana and Jackie had during their first official meeting. After experiencing the supernatural and powerful prayer moments, warfare began breaking out. Oftentimes when we break chains and help set others free, hell is looking to attempt to shake us up and make things difficult. Battling fear, doubt and distress even with Rowell, Adriana and Jackie knew it was just retaliation from the enemy and continued to remain in prayer. Finally feeling more confidence in her heavenly language she began to use it more and even more breakthrough began. The Lord kept showing her the promise of Rowell's healing - through a major vision and a prayer from a stranger. Rowell continued to show signs of improvement and Adriana continued in intercession for young Jackie, a rollercoaster of spiritual breakthrough and attack that led to even more confidence and authority in Christ. During this Rowell also suddenly removed his tracheostomy tube and was sent back to the ER - where Adriana heard the Lord asking her to trust Him and let go. It was another stressful hospital stay yet the Lords Peace was all over it - letting go and allowing him to stay in the ER overnight without sleeping over allowed her to make it in time for a life changing group through Dance Worship where more chains broke and more alliances in prayer were formed.
Have you had moments where the most breakthrough happened and also everything seemed to be falling apart around you? This is something we all experience on our walks - especially when it comes to breaking chains of darkness in powerful prayer and intercession - the enemy always tries but God always prevails. He will always speak through it all and give His peace, if you allow yourself to step into authority and remember that Christ already has the victory! Throughout it all we must remain in faith and in a posture of prayer and surrender - allowing God to fight for us! There’s so much power in prayer, that is how we keep going and that’s what we do to allow God to fight for us! We don’t need any special qualification - our training grounds are our circumstances and God will use them to refine and sharpen us!
For it is written:
For You light my lamp;
The Lord my God illumines my darkness.
For by You I can run at a troop of warriors;
And by my God I can leap over a wall.
¶As for God, His way is blameless;
The word of the Lord is refined;
He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.
For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God,
The God who encircles me with strength,
And makes my way blameless?
He makes my feet like deer’s feet,
And sets me up on my high places.
He trains my hands for battle,
So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
You have also given me the shield of Your salvation,
And Your right hand upholds me;
And Your gentleness makes me great.
You enlarge my steps under me,
And my feet have not slipped.
¶I pursued my enemies and overtook them,
And I did not turn back until they were consumed.
I shattered them, so that they were not able to rise;
They fell under my feet.
For You have encircled me with strength for battle;
You have forced those who rose up against me to bow down under me.
 - Psalm 18: 28-39 NASB

Welcome to Episode SIXTEEN of Flame of Grace!
In this Episode, post AVM surgery and after following through on obedience in leaving her job: Adriana was starting to experience the alignment of the Lord for her life. Being in the spaces and places He called her to, prayer broke chains and her voice was able to find freedom and confidence to speak and she received final confirmation to start this very podcast of testimony. Fighting doubts and the lies from the enemy about how much her heart cared for and wanted to be there for Rowell, the Lord spoke through others to remind her that He sees her heart and that He wants precious time with her, and so does He with YOU. In this waiting season she was reminded to keep her eyes on Jesus, to TRUST God and not to look at the lack, but the abundance of His love. While in the waiting season it can be hard not to think and look ahead or want it to end, but God is asking us to trust Him, love Him and seek Him. Through the obedience of leaving her job not only was she able to be there for Rowell, but also for those whom the Lord called into her life— the first being a young sister in Christ named Jackie - and this is the start of her journey with the supernatural power of God working in her. A shift began and prayer was her primary training ground in this season.

Oftentimes in the waiting it can feel dry and desolate - but God has a purpose! When we ask “Lord what do you have for me here? What can I learn? What's my assignment now? Am I making Ishmael's where You promised Isaacs? Am I trying to move ahead of you?” It allows the Lord to speak to your heart and show you and prune you and guide you in the season of waiting so you can be in alignment with His will.

No one can take your inheritance away from you — the promise is there for you always, by faith in Jesus Christ! No lie from the enemy can steal your position in Christ! You have permission to prosper and you ARE worthy in the waiting— God has not forgotten you - He is forging you, shaping you, loving you and protecting you!
For it is written:
“1I will raise my eyes to the mountains;
From where will my help come?
2My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
3He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who watches over you will not slumber.
4Behold, He who watches over Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.
5¶The Lord is your protector;
The Lord is your shade on your right hand.
6The sun will not beat down on you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
7The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
8The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in
From this time and forever.”
Psalm 121 NASB

Welcome to Episode Fifteen of Flame of Grace!
In this episode, Rowell is finally able to be seen for an appointment that was delayed for nine months! Leading up to his final brain surgery that removed the AVM aneurysm,  it was true divine timing of the Lord. Though circumstances never seem to get easier, prayer becomes more powerful and Adriana is able to feel stable and firm even in her weakness. In our weakness He truly is our strength [2 Corinthians 12:9]. Through a powerful fast, more doors were opened and others were shut. Confirmations were given and opportunities to walk in obedience were presented. Can we let go of the past enough to move forward in the timing of the Lord? It may not always look as it seems, but only God sees the bigger picture, we must trust His marvelous love. Through a prophetic act, Adriana realized she was holding onto things that no longer served her, God was asking her to let the old things passed, cut the locks on the closet door where she kept things protected and unkept. God was calling her higher, and He’s calling you higher.

Where do you need to cut the locks? Where in your life is an area God is asking you to let go and trust Him with making it all new?
“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland."
Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV

Welcome to Episode FOURTEEN of Flame of Grace! In this episode, Adriana returns to continue the story of Rowell's healing and how God moved in mighty ways. She felt the pull to leave her job many times but this is the moment where God confirmed to her that moving in obedience was crucial. As Rowell ends up in the ER yet again, still we see how the big picture shows how God worked it for good and helped Adriana see the growth in her process of patience and prayer. Adriana declares a powerful prayer bringing dry bones back to life (according to Ezekiel 37)  and shares the experience of how that prayer changed a seemingly daunting situation. A season filled with many dreams of prophetic warning and instruction, showing her how cleansing and purification was needed of her space and mind. These dreams revealed open doors that through obedience were shut in the name of Jesus. Through a powerful fast and a deep surrender of letting Rowell go for the first time in a new way, chains were broken and new songs were birthed.
Moving in obedience can sometimes feel scary, yet God holds our hand through it all. In this instance, dreams were given as warning and for revelation, just as in the scriptures God sent angels in dreams and spoke through the night into the spirits of His servants to bring them into alignment with His will. How is God asking you to step in obedience? Are you a dreamer, a seer or a knower? How is God speaking to you today to let go and let Him work? We cannot see the outcome, but in retrospect, we see how God moves in grace towards us to show us the way to sanctification and growth. All glory and honor goes to the Most High God who created heaven and earth and faithfully watches over us and gave His only Son to die for us because He loves us! Jesus we love you! How can Jesus not be on our brain all day? May we continue to allow His love to keep changing and rearranging our hearts and minds, so that we can walk the path He’s set for us!
The Greatness of God
1“Comfort, comfort My people,” says your God.
2“Speak kindly to Jerusalem;
And call out to her, that her warfare has ended,
That her guilt has been removed,
That she has received of the Lord’s hand
Double for all her sins.”
3¶The voice of one calling out,
“Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness;
Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4“Let every valley be lifted up,
And every mountain and hill be made low;
And let the uneven ground become a plain,
And the rugged terrain a broad valley;
5 Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed,
And all flesh will see it together;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
7The grass withers, the flower fades,
When the breath of the Lord blows upon it;
The people are indeed grass!
8The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.
9¶Go up on a high mountain,
Zion, messenger of good news,
Raise your voice forcefully,
Jerusalem, messenger of good news;
Raise it up, do not fear.
Say to the cities of Judah,
“Here is your God!”
10Behold, the Lord God will come with might,
With His arm ruling for Him.
Behold, His compensation is with Him,
And His reward before Him.

- Isaiah 40:1-5, 7-10 NASB

Welcome to Episode THIRTEEN of Flame of Grace! In this episode Gods timing is truly shown as nothing less than perfect. Rowell ends up in the ER after a major seizure and infection and all progress seemed lost. Even when in the moment it seemed like everything was falling apart, there was divine order and things that needed to take place that in hindsight, now fit together perfectly and it’s something only God can do!
Just as it’s written :
 “The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way?” -Proverbs 20:24 NLT
As she continued in full surrender of her soul, Gods plan unfolded in a mighty way. She was truly understanding that the Battle IS the Lords! Sometimes we try to figure it out but truly we will never know in the moment what God has planned, so our best choice is to trust Him, surrender our will for His and walk in obedience.
For it is written:
Thus says the Lord,
“In a favorable time I have answered You,
And in a day of salvation I have helped You;
And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people,
To restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;
9Saying to those who are bound, ‘Go forth,’
To those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’
Along the roads they will feed,
And their pasture will be on all bare heights.
10They will not hunger or thirst,
Nor will the scorching heat or sun strike them down;
For He who has compassion on them will lead them
And will guide them to springs of water.
11I will make all My mountains a road,
And My highways will be raised up.
12Behold, these will come from afar;
And lo, these will come from the north and from the west,
And these from the land of Sinim.”
13Shout for joy, O heavens! And rejoice, O earth!
Break forth into joyful shouting, O mountains!
For the Lord has comforted His people
And will have compassion on His afflicted.
Promise to Zion
14But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me,
And the Lord has forgotten me.”
15“Can a woman forget her nursing child
And have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
16Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;”
- Isaiah 49:8-16

YOU are written on the palms of Gods hands!! He will never forget you! His plans are perfect! Will you trust even when it doesn't make sense?

Welcome to Episode 12 of Flame of Grace! In this Episode, after only being at the rehab for about a month Rowell lands back in the ER, then began another journey of patience and faith that started to shift everything. God was moving in many ways, showing His timing and helping Adriana use those moments to create artistically. July was a month of major purging and cleansing, where Adriana’s life began to transform. Where she saw and felt the Lord setting her apart and testing her obedience and stripping her of all things that were not of God. Rowell began showing a lot of life and expression and the season seemed it was coming to an end and moving in acceleration. Adriana once again had to learn how to truly trust in God. There are a lot of times where we think it's the time for something to happen and yet we can’t see what God sees. In retrospect, even at the time she thought she was ready for the miracle, yet as she looks back, she sees how God continued to prune and cleanse her from all things that would hinder her from becoming the woman God intended her to be. Can we trust God even when in our eyes things seem one way but His plan is showing another? Can we trust the One who knows us better than we know ourselves?
For it is written:
"Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning;
For I trust in You;
Teach me the way in which I should walk;
For to You I lift up my soul.
Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies;
I take refuge in You.
Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
For the sake of Your name, O Lord, revive me.
In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble."

Welcome to Episode 11 of Flame of Grace ! In this episode Rowell and Adriana embark on their journey finally leaving the hospital, trusting God as He leads them to the water: to Rockaway Beach. Having it be the only place out of over 200 places they applied that accepted, Adriana knew in her spirit, God was asking her to trust Him fully. As she experiences the newness of their environment and Rowell begins showing improvement, she celebrates her 30th birthday on the shores of the Rockaways, feeling lonely but knowing she’s not alone. Though uncertain times were ahead, God shows her a rainbow in the sky, a rainbow on the shores of Rockaway, a beautiful promise on her birthday that confirms that the move was Gods will. This being the first few weeks after vowing and surrendering her voice, the attacks of the enemy in her dreams began and the Lord used this time to truly prune and shape her character, helping expose parts of her that needed to be healed and transformed. The pressing and crushing of the olives and wine of her spirit began, and she began to feel herself transforming into the likeness of Christ, a little bit at a time.
How is God using the pressing, crushing and painful storms of your situation to produce the beauty of the oil and wine that will flow out of you? Do we find it difficult to keep our eyes on Jesus while the storm rages? Is He sleeping in your boat on your sea of despair and is He asking you to walk on the water and keep your eyes on Him? Where do you keep your gaze? On the calmness of His rest during the storm? On His confidence and faith in the impossible? Or on the raging storm of circumstances?
When we give our trust to the Lord, He works mighty wonders through us, where are your eyes?
For it is Written:
Psalm 121
"The Lord the Keeper of Israel."
I will lift up my eyes to the hills [of Jerusalem]—
From where shall my help come? [Jer 3:23]
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber. [1 Sam 2:9; Ps 127:1; Prov 3:23, 26; Is 27:3]
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Will neither slumber [briefly] nor sleep [soundly].
¶The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade on your right hand. [Is 25:4]
The sun will not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night. [Ps 91:5; Is 49:10; Rev 7:16]
The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your life.
The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in [everything that you do]
From this time forth and forever. [Deut 28:6; Prov 2:8; 3:6]

Welcome to Episode TEN of Flame of Grace! In this episode, Adriana recaps the very last months Rowell is in the hospital before officially moving to the Rehab/Nursing center they currently reside. The story resumes at the start of Holy Week 2024, where prayers were answered in many ways and the Holy Spirit moved within Adriana creatively while she still trekked through the deep sunless valley of her wilderness season. Here, at the bedside of Rowells hospital bed, crying out to God and expressing herself through spontaneous worship, her first official worship song was birthed! “Hosanna” was a product of pure and true worship in the most painful place in her life. The pressures of having to leave the hospital while Rowells respiratory status was unsteady and everything seemed to be overwhelming; God was telling her to be patient and trust Him. “Even though I don’t see…I believe “ she wrote, as Adriana continued to carry the cross of her tribulation alongside her love Rowell, who was fighting day and night in Faith, the Faith the Lord gifted them both by His grace. A powerful surrender was made and a vow to God to dedicate her voice was declared, and with that she began to fully allow Jesus to be Lord of her life. “Be still” and “stand firm” was what she held onto as she battled with Ephesians 6 and put her armor of God on! “I can’t be afraid of change” she said “LEAVE ME fear! Only the Prince of Peace is welcome” she exclaimed as she finally began to feel equipped in battle as they neared their last days in the hospital. A new journey would begin, far off on the shores of Rockaway Beach, where God would continue to work and show His mighty hand, even when she didn’t at first realize.
Have you ever felt you had to at first see to believe? The very definition of Faith is to believe in what is unseen!
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” -Hebrews 11:1 KJV
It can be very difficult to believe, and that’s why we have Our Lord Jesus to lean on and Gods word to fight back with! Knowing Gods promises for us and Gods character is so important during difficult times, knowing He NEVER leaves us nor forsakes us! Often times in the psalms we hear David crying out in ways we recognize in our own hearts. And He always praises God for who He is. Can you recount all the moments God worked in your life during difficult times to remind yourself that your current struggle is just as safe in His hands? He’s always with you, by you, in you…working it all for your good!
“Therefore my spirit feels weak within me; My heart is appalled within me. I remember the days of old;I meditate on all Your accomplishments; I reflect on the work of Your hands. I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You, like a weary land. Selah. Answer me quickly, Lord, my spirit fails; Do not hide Your face from me, Or I will be the same as those who go down to the pit. 8Let me hear Your faithfulness in the morning, For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul. Save me, Lord, from my enemies; I take refuge in You. Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. For the sake of Your name, Lord, revive me. In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.” - Psalm 143:4-11

Welcome to Episode NINE of Flame of Grace! In this episode, after being unsafely discharged from the hospital to a rehab center, Rowell is brought back to the ER the same day and the unending journey of advocacy for Rowell's safety once again began. After a difficult few days Adriana describes this moment as a “Red Sea” moment, in Gods infinite mercy and grace He delivered them in record time to be admitted and it really gave Adriana a new perspective on her faith and control of the situation. GOD WORKS WHILE WE WAIT! A lesson she had to live, as she continued to surrender her own will for Gods will over this situation. God sent many angels to guide and protect her and Rowell and the desire to just let go and let God, was stronger than ever.  “Wash me in the Blood of Jesus”she cried out. It always astounded her how detailed the Lord is when He sends help, it always seems to be exactly what’s needed because God cares about the details of our lives and just like Nathaniel under the Fig tree, He hears us even when we don’t think anyone does. Our suffering is not in vain and we cannot allow fear to confuse us of what it means when we suffer.
For it is written: “For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out ‘Abba! Father!’. The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God. and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.”  Romans 8:13-17
May we stand in the truth that we are children of God and that fear has no dominion over us and that God hears us and cares for us and loves us so deeply He sent His only Son to die for us, so that we may have freedom. When you cry out to God know that He hears you and He’s washing you in the Blood of Jesus, bringing you closer to Him, cleansing you and pruning you through this suffering and helping us understand that
“….The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives strength to the weary and to the one who lacks might He increases power.” - Isaiah 40:28-29

Welcome to Episode EIGHT of Flame of Grace! In this Episode after a long Holy week/Easter break, Adriana returns to continue the story of Rowell's post cranioplasty surgery. With the power of praising God through all uncertainty, Adriana knew that God was “bigger than her circumstances” and praise was poured out upon her lips, praise for the past, present and future. Finally moving to the Step down Unit, a constant battle of stress, anxiety and pressure from the circumstances of the situation began to  take a toll mentally and emotionally. Amidst the pain, drama also was quick to pursue, but God used creativity to help Adriana release her pain through her music and surprised her in His ways of moving and providing. Rowell was eventually unsafely discharged after constant effort and research in facilities seemed to hit dead ends and drown her in scary possibilities. Yet God still moved powerfully through all of it and although she didn’t know or understand, trust in the Fathers plan and gratitude and praise was her recipe for faith. No matter what or how she was spoken against or Rowells situation was spoken on, God was her rock and deliverer.
As it is written, “It is good to gives thanks to the Lord and sing praises to Your name, Most High; To declare Your goodness in the morning and Your faithfulness by night,…For you Lord, have made me joyful by what you have done, I will sing for joy over the works of your hands! How great are your works Lord, Your thoughts are very deep. …The righteous person will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon…To declare that the Lord is just; He is my rock, and there is no malice in Him” - Psalm 92: 1- 2;4-5;12;15

Sometimes it’s hard to praise or give gratitude when things seem dark and adversaries come against us; but just like David when he said “If an army encamps against me, My heart will not fear; If war arises against me, In spite of this I am confident” - Psalm 27:3
We cannot forget who fights for us! There is power in our praise! Our Father is our vindication and our refuge! He plants us in the garden and makes us strong like cedars: a symbol of resilience and endurance, strength, greatness, holiness and peace; to flourish as we admire His works.
How can we dig deeper to praise in times of pain? How can we remind ourselves that is it He who plants us, uproots us, helps us grow and makes us flourish!
